Magna Carta Libertatum commonly called Magna Carta is a royal charter of rights agreed to by King John of England at Runnymede, near Windsor in 1215.
If you travel out of Windsor towards Runnymede and Egham you follow the River Thames.
Thee are signs to a car park where opposite are some excellent Tea Rooms which make the perfect base from which you can then walk to the exact site where the Magna Carta was signed by King John on 15th June 1215.
